Amazon uses Boeing 767 Airliner to Minimize Delivery Times

Posted by: admin , April 17, 2018

Amazon is speeding its parcel delivery times by using a Boeing 767 airliner. Amazon One is the company’s first branded plane to combat its increasing shipping needs in future.

The air cargo network will be operated by Atlas and Air Transport Services Group. The jet is part of Amazon’s Prime Air fleet that comprises its own air transport network. Currently, 11 of the plane are already running, delivering packaging for the company’s Prime members.

In cooperation with its growing aerial fleet, Amazon will continue to utilize its current delivery partners. There will be another additional 29 dedicated planes to be rolled out in the next two years time.
