We all know that the photography technology changes at lightning speed and that means, photography technologies and techniques we used 30 years ago probably are no longer in use! There are many designers nowadays helping you to turn your old photo into a new looking one. How about the other way round? To turn your new photo into the old one. Possible? The answer is yes.
We’ve found two websites that can help you to make this:
1. Your Old Pic
Your Old Pic is the site to make your photo has an “antique” appearance, torn and totally out of focus. Start transforming your photos into an image that looks like a snapshot taken in the early 1900s by clicking on Choose File to select a photo and upload.
You will then get a definitely old looking photos. The filter does the same exact thing to every image, though, down to the tear in the top left corner. So, if you are building an album of old-looking photos, it may be wise to use both of these services to for visual variation. Both services work quickly—only a few seconds are required to transform a photo from modern to ancient.
Looking for an easy way to get an ‘old photo effect’? Do you want to make a photo look old? This website is the easiest place to make your pictures look old. You don’t need photoshop. Just upload an image and Your Old Picture providers you with an antique looking copy of it! With this website you can take a picture you took this morning and transform it into an image that looks as if it is a snapshot of photography that was taken in the early 1900s. These classic effects make a photo look older, and sometimes, even more elegant.
2. Wanokoto
This website is written entirely in Japanese, so most of us might not find it in the Google search. However, you can use it by translate the whole webpage into English using web translation tool like Google Translate.
By clicking on the the Choose File button at the middle of the page and then select the file you wish to make look old to begin transforming your photo into a black and white, with image faded so that it looks older.
