If you wish to have a customized username for your Facebook page, then you can follow this simple guide. Having a username for your Facebook page is much more better as it allows your visitors to remember the URL of your Facebook page and easily direct someone to your Page, instead of having a hard to remember long URL links.
Today, Web Cool Tips is going to share with on you how to create a customized Facebook page username. Previously, I tried to created a username for my Facebook, but Facebook said the Page was not eligible.
So, What are the requirements?
I search through the Facebook Help page and found the following answer:
All Facebook Pages are eligible to claim usernames if they have more than 25 fans.
After you have created your Facebook page and have more than 25 fans, you can claim your own Facebook page username by head over to:
http://www.facebook.com/username
Set a username for your Pages.
Each Facebook page can have a username. However, once you have set it, you will not be able to edit or transfer it.
Now, Facebook Page for webcooltips.com is available on Facebook.
I hope you enjoy this guide and don’t forget to invite your friends to join our newly created Facebook Page at:

Just wondering, did you have a PROFILE linked when you created your PAGE? I have created my business PAGE (that is NOT linked to my personal profile) but can’t seem to create a username as FB is stating I need to link it to a profile? I don’t have 25 fans just yet as I’ve only just created it but I’m wondering if having a personal profile linked to your page is ANOTHER requirement (as well as the 25 fan requirement). I’m hoping that it’s just asking me to link it because I don’t have 25 fans and once I do I’ll be able to get the username without having to link it to my personal profile…

I found this info on my own also… but a few things are missing.
1) Are Fans the number of likes you have on your page?
2) How do you get the URL of your page (do direct people) before you’re eligible for the username?
I really need help
