We took hundreds or even thousands of photos using our digital camera. However, the photos taken by us do not label the photo’s location and the things in the photo, only the photo numbers are assigned. At certain moment, we may capture a great photo from a popular location that contains object we might not know about the name. As a result, it can be very hard for us to figure out the exact answers.
A great service called Macroglossa designed to help users in identifying locations, animals, plants, and even artwork in images. The service will first analyzes the images, and then lists out the similar images. From each of the listed similar images will has a Web reference which tells you what the image is.
Now, Macroglossa only supports JPEG format files that are smaller than 1920 x 1080. So, if you are the photographer that would like to use this service, make sure you resize your photo with a graphic or photo editor first before you upload the image. You will need to choose a Category for Animals, Biological, Panoramic, or Artistic. Enter the Recaptcha words.
The service will give you a result.
Hence, if you cannot identify a particular object in a photo, why not give Macroglossa a try?
