edit text from scanned documentsHow do you take out text from scanned image?
One of the biggest problems for scanned documents is that, texts inside the image cannot be modified directly. So basically if you want your image text to be made editable, you can try OnlineOCR. It is a website which converts scanned image documents and give you in an editable text mode.
The service recognizes text and characters of 28 languages from PDF scanned documents including multiple pages file, photographs and digital camera captured images to tables, columns, bullets and graphics which appear exactly just like the original then giving you the results in Adobe PDF, MS Word, MS Excel, Rtf, Html and Txt formats.

Supported graphic file formats can be any one listed below:
TIF/TIFF (multipage TIFF), JPEG/JPG, BMP, PCX, PNG, GIF, PDF (multipage PDF)
Just make sure your image resolution is 200 DPI or higher in order to get a good recognition outcome.
