Recently, Microsoft has launched the new Office 2016 preview version to the public and the official release is to be available on September 23. Now, Microsoft released the second update six with six new features added, the details are as follows.
New Excel chart:
The new Microsoft Excel has 6 new chart styles, including Waterfall (waterfall flow), Histogram (bar chart), Pareto, Box & Whisker, Treemap and Sunburst.
Real-time collaboration Word type:
Real-time collaborative inputs Word Count function. You can view other people’s work and input. In order to experience this feature, just save the document to OneDrive for Business and invite your colleagues to co-edit.
Excel and PowerPoint support Insights:
Last month Microsoft has provided Insights for Word and Outlook (opinion), which is now extended to Excel and PowerPoint. Opinion (Insights) driven by a Bing, can provide you with context information. To view or search for content in a document, simply right click on any word or phrase and select “smart search”, Insights will present you the relevant content.
Tell Me:
Tell Me is a new command to find the way only in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Outlook. At the top of Tell Me input box, enter the keywords that you want to perform an action; you will get a set of operations that the command results for you to choose from.
Convert handwritten formula (automatic recognition function):
Enter a formula in PowerPoint, Word and Excel by digital stylus, mouse or touch screen, Office can recognize handwritten formulas and automates the conversion.
