Well, this mini robot is a portable printer and also a mobile robotic printer that is small enough to fit into the palm of your hand. ZUtA is a four-inch wireless printer which connects to your devices through WIFI so that it can print straight from your phone. By integrating with an app, you can print what you see on your phone easily.

It can print on any size paper. The printer rolls back and forth over a piece of paper until the on-screen image is recreated in about a minute. To print on a full A4 page, it is just 40 seconds only. One ink cartridge can print about 100 pages. Right now, it’s only black-and-white, but they hope to add color printing someday.

The battery lasts an hour, but it is rechargeable via a micro USB. It is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows. The device is expected to be available and will retail for $299.

This robot was invented by two students at the Jerusalem College of Technology who saw a gap in the market for a portable printer. If only I had this at Uni, that would be great to have a pocket printer like this video here.
