The Real Time Instant Search Feature in Google

Google has been implementing more features on its search engine since the launched of Bing search engine by Microsoft. It is what Google testing on its search engine – Real Time Instant Search! You can refer back to an 2006 article titled “This is a test. This is only a test.” from the official Google blog.

The company is currently testing on an “instant search” feature that can change the search results in real time as you type. This feature was first spotted by a SEO consultant Rob Ousbey on his own computer over the weekend when he tried to type something to search on Google’s search box.

If you were wondering to yourself, what is the advantage of this feature? The answer is you don’t even need to hit on the Google ‘Search’ button anymore as Google will update any search results for you while you’re typing to search.

So has anybody ever seen this yet? It’s a great improvement on the speed not only for Google, but also for broadband internet users and web browers whom wish to browse for instant information. Have a look on the demonstration video below.
