The Rise Of Facebook to Become Number One Social Networking Site

Before the rise of Facebook, MySpace is the number one social networking site on the Internet in terms of total active users in 2004. In the year 2009, Facebook active users faraway surpassing MySpace and became the top social networking site in the world until today.

Why is Facebook so successful than MySpace? This is because when compared to MySpace, Facebook has a wide variety of intelligent and useful applications, simple and easy interface, more capable to fight spam/ virus than MySpace, simple social media integration that allow users to share information from other sites, support mobile apps, and continually to add new alerts in real time to its users.

With more than 400 million active users and counting, currently Facebook keeps changing and improving its site to make sure it can grow rapidly at the same time balancing the age gap, expanding its networks to people from all ages.
