Zapbox is an affordable device that could popularise mixed reality. Zapbox just costs around $30. It is a Google Cardboard-like device that displays, virtual objects that appear to be anchored to the real world.
Mixed Reality is also known as MR. The concept of MR is different from augment reality. With Artificial Intelligence (AR), virtual objects do not interact with the real world, they are simply suspended with it in a non-anchored manner.
Through Zapbox’s MR, user can fully interact with virtual elements. A live camera feed is projected into users field of vision.
In this Mixed Reality, users can do things like paint in 3D space. Users can even explore planets like Mars. Besides, it is including other activities like playing virtual instruments or mini golf.
So, in the future, could MR play a key role in the gaming and education?
